Alicia Leckie

This garment is part of a collection by Alicia Leckie from De Montfort University. I like the black and white printed dress but I don't like it paired with the black and yellow gingham shirt underneath. In my opinion these two parts of the garment clash and the pattern of the dress would look better with a plain block coloured top or no underneath top at all. I also don't like the bottom of the dress. It looks like a PVC material which i think makes it look cheap and slightly tacky. I think just the chiffon printed material alone would be much better. I do like the shape of the dress and the way it hangs on the model and I do like the black and white print. I also like the way the pattern looks where the dress is slightly gathered at the empire line above the waist.
